Shuttle Bus to Kamigamo-jinja
9:00 am - 10:00 am
We have arranged a shuttle to bring guests to Kamigamo-jinja. It will be stopping at: Hotel Okura: 9:00AM Pick-Up The Chapter, Kyoto: 9:30AM Pick-Up If you are not taking the shuttle bus to the shrine, please arrive there by 10:00AM.
Wedding Ceremony
10:00 am - 11:45 am

Attire: Formal or Black-Tie Optional. DO NOT WEAR THE FOLLOWING COLORS: all black; white; red; golf; silver; anything metallic/flashy.
Our shuttle bus will also take guests from Kamigamo-jinja to our reception venue, Minokichi Takeshigero. Expect to be on the bus by 11:45AM.
Lunch Reception
12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The restaurant serves seasonal dishes that may change based on what ingredients are available every day. While we cannot show you a menu in advance, every dish is likely to include seafood (i.e. stocks, broths, etc.) and products containing gluten (i.e. soy sauce, miso soup). Please note that the restaurant will serve you a full 10+ course meal featuring fish, shellfish, poultry, etc. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Kimono Rental
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Kimono rental fittings will take up to 30 minutes per person. Please arrive between 3:30PM and 4:30PM if you will be renting a kimono. Rentals will be approximately $40 USD per person Rental staff will collect the kimonos from you at your hotel the following morning.
Nighttime Temple Viewing
5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
1 Chome-294 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, Japan
Kiyomizu-dera holds special nighttime viewings three times a year. Please meet us at the temple at 5:30PM.
