What time does the wedding begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15 PM EST. Please arrive in enough time to valet, utilize coat check, grab a program, and be seated.

What is the RSVP date?

Answer

Please respond to the save the dates no later than July 12, 2021. Our guest count is limited and if you are unable to attend, we would like to extend the invitation to others as soon as possible.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception are being held at The Bellevue Conference & Event Center. 43350 John Mosby Highway Chantilly, VA 20152

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie. For women, we suggest floor-length or cocktail dresses, or evening gowns. For men, a dark suit or tuxedo is appropriate.

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

If you don't mind, please steer clear of white!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

September begins nicer weather for DC where the humidity calms down (a bit) and the temperatures are more bearable with average highs of 80s and lows of 60 degrees. Needless to say, we expect the weather to be beautiful!

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home [under 18] so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

There will be options for everyone.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

While our ceremony will be unplugged, we encourage guests to post pictures of our reception on to their social media channels! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #DeVeauxtedToYou so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There will be complimentary valet parking.

Will there be any alcohol at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be limited alcoholic beverages provided during the reception and cocktail hour. Afterwards, there will be a full cash bar available.

The reception is scheduled to end at 12:00 AM.
