Denver Botanic Gardens
How exciting that you get to be in Denver during the Botanical Gardens’ Blossoms of Light. If you have a free night, head over and check it out. Let us know if you go, we might try to tag along!!! Open nightly Nov. 23, 2018 - Jan. 1, 2019 from 5-9 p.m.
Denver Zoo
You know we love the zoo but we love it even more in the winter!! Every year, the Denver Zoo has Zoo Lights. Zoo Lights is back for its 29th year, and sure to be bigger and better than ever! The holiday magic spans across over 70 acres, with more than two million lights, nightly entertainment, sweet treats, animal encounters and a Festival of Lanterns, plus illuminated animal sculptures that swing through trees, jump across lawns, hide in bushes and appear in places where they’re least expected. Get your tickets sooner rather than later, it sells out quick. Open from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Coors Brewery Tour
Looking for something to do inside and during the day? Go for a tour at Coors Brewery! We went here on our second, or was it our third, date. Either way, it is a staple in CO and you get free beer at the end! Worth it!
Breckenridge Ski Resort
Winter sports enthusiast? Head up to Breckinridge or one of the many other ski resorts and hit the slopes for a day! The runs are longer than the lift rides! (The Washington people will understand)
Maroon Bells
If the weather is good, take a scenic drive to the enchanting Maroon Bells. One of the most beautiful places Colorado has to offer.
