Flight
The easiest and most cost-efficient airport to fly into is Rome (Fiumicino Airport – FCO). For those traveling from Dallas, there are direct flights available to Rome, which might make your journey a bit easier! Of course, everyone’s travel plans will vary, so feel free to choose the route that works best for you.
Train
Traveling by high-speed train is the best way to get from Rome to Florence—it’s how we’ll be going too! The trip takes just 1.5 hours, with tickets under $50 if booked in advance. Trains run frequently from Rome’s Termini station to Florence’s Santa Maria Novella station, right in the city center. It’s quick, convenient, and offers gorgeous views of the Italian countryside!
