Clearwater Beach
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida! It is where we got engaged, so we knew we just had to get married here. The Wyndham is located directly on this beach, and out of town guests may wish to take advantage of its beautiful white sand and many delicious seafood restaurants.
Frenchy's Rockaway Grill
This is our favorite place to eat whenever we go to Clearwater. It is right on the beach, and has a great atmosphere and a really good menu.
Crabby's Dockside
This is another of our favorite Clearwater restaurants. It is a very short walk from the Wyndham and has a super yummy menu.
Downtown Dunedin
Downtown Dunedin has always been a place that we love to go for a quiet evening together. We took our engagement pictures here. There is a beautiful pier where you can watch the sunset, a small park, and lots of unique shops/restaurants. Our favorite places to go are Strachan's Homemade Ice Cream and Dessert (if you go, you have to try the carrot cake!) and the Casa Tina Mexican Restaurant. Both are within walking distance of the main parking area.
Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks
Another one of our favorite places to go! We really like to eat & drink at Rusty Bellies Waterfront Seafood, but there are also a lot of Greek restaurants. If you are in the mood for dessert, Hella's Bakery is a must-go, and there is also a shop that sells the best fudge right across the street.
Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant
We love it here! They have good food & THE best wine. This is about a 30 minute drive from Clearwater.
Charley's Steak House
If you're looking for something a little fancier, Charley's steakhouse is Andrew's absolute favorite place to go for special occasions. They have really good steaks of course, but we also love their crabcakes and lobster mac and cheese. This is also about a 30 minute drive from Clearwater.
Topgolf
Although this is a bit of a drive from Clearwater (about 45 minutes), it is a super fun spot for hitting golf balls and grabbing food and drinks. Great to do with a group of people!
