In just four days after first meeting as neighbors, we discovered through an unlikely series of "coincidental" encounters that we had far more in common than being two co-workers from the same hometown…and the spark was ignited. Hurricane Irma arrived two short weeks later to present our first opportunity to travel together. With limited flight options to evacuate Southwest Florida, we landed in one of the earth's most romantic cities–Detroit, Michigan. Our trip to Detroit set the foundation for what we'd become as a couple and our endless adventures around the world together.
