Corey is my long-time brother. I met him in the late 80’s. We lived in the same room together for 18 years. We were each other’s best friend and worst enemy growing up. He’s an incredibly funny guy with a good heart and a good beard. I’m honored that he will be my best man. I love this guy. Coco! My future brother-in-law. I sure hope one day Kev will love me just as much as he loves you( just kidding!)...Well, I know he loves me BUT boy does he love you! Just like Kase, you're like my sunshine too and I knew I'd love you instantly! You always seem to know what's important in life and I love how family and friends mean so much to you. Keep living the dream, team June babies! <3

I met Rachel the summer of ‘06 at a graduation party. When you first meet her, you immediately notice her infectious smile that lights up the room, and discover that she's the most down-to-earth person you've ever met. I'm a naturally shy person, but Rachel made me feel like making new friends was a piece of cake. Even though she moved to California we remained close. What I love most about our friendship is that although we’re miles apart, it’ll always feel like we can pick up where we started. She'll always be one of my best friends. You can say our friendship is “effortless”. Rachel is the kind of person you strive to be. Not only is she an accomplished goal-getter and supermom to her son Mason, but she's going to make an amazing wife to her fiance Ricky.

Four words: My Partner in Crime. We met through mutual friends in the summer of '06. It wasn’t until planning a Christmas party that we truly formed our bond and we’ve been best friends ever since! I love that we’ve been able to experience life’s phases together. We have grown together, made poor decisions together, been there to support each other through it all, and I can't wait to have our babies become the next "PICs". What can I say about us, we’re just meant to be. I can recall being so sad that Marichelle would be moving to Dearborn, how things would change and I’d no longer have a 15-minute drive to her parents’ house. Little did we know that once Marichelle and Garret set Kevin and I up, we'd no longer have to worry about that! ETA to Marichelle & Garret's: 15-minutes!

Garret is one of my best friends. When I made the switch to public school in 7th grade, Garret made the switch in 8th and we became real good friends. We both grew up together in the same neighborhood, played the same sports, and generally got into trouble together. Garret and the Ehred family are like family. I met Julie through Garret and his wife Marichelle. Garret, what are the chances that I'd end up with your best friend? You and Marichelle are quite the matchmakers! (2 for 2 to be exact). I've loved getting to know you not only as Marichelle's boyfriend(now hubby) but as Kevin's best friend too. Thank you for all the times you've been there for me :)

My future sister! I have to admit that when I first met Mary, I was a little intimidated. I was just beginning to meet Kevin’s family and I definitely felt like I needed to win his sister over. I just knew she’d be the one giving me a thorough read and I'm pretty sure I got grilled a few times. Looks like I got the stamp of approval! Kevin’s family is so close-knit that it didn’t take long for me to get to know and form a sister-like relationship with Mary. I know that she's only a simple call or text away. I’ve loved every opportunity I’ve gotten to spend with her because it’s always such a great time. Mary's an amazing mom to her sweet boys Gavin and Conor and she always has a way of making me laugh and I look forward to it every time! I love you tons! <3

Joel is my brother-in-law. Joel, Corey, and I all share a very similar sense of humor. A very cool un-assuming dude. Even though he’s a Packers fan, we still love him. He's such a teddy too! (This is Julie chiming in). Joel's such a great dad to Gavin and Conor and you can tell how much family means to him. I'm so glad to have you in my life and thank you for all the laughs!

My other future sister! What I love about Kasey is her energy and I can’t help but feed off of it! She’s like my beautiful, fun, ray of sunshine. Pretty sure I can speak for the rest of the universe when I say that she gives you this warm, fuzzy feeling when you first meet/see her which puts a smile on your face. It's like you've known her for years and you can tell it just comes naturally for her. I remember the first time we met, I knew I’d love Kasey instantly. I’m at my happiest when I’m surrounded by supportive, giving, positive people and energy sources- Kasey is one of those people in my life. I’m looking so forward to having her(you too Coco!) close by :) <3

I always wanted to be just like my Ate (the respected Filipino term for an older sister) Candice. I was the pesky little sister that would always get into her stuff and I didn’t quite grasp the art of asking. I’m so sorry that I was such a little stinker! Now, my niece Hadley is my karma! Candice has always been someone I’ve found comfort in. I must’ve been about 3-4 years old when I had a really bad dream. I immediately got up and went into my sister’s room to sleep beside her. Candice has been the kind of sister I need; One who played mom and took care of me and picked me up from school, brought me to my first concert (N*SYNC), and showed me tough love when I needed it most. She’s an amazing wife and mom to Hadley and Preston, and I know she'll be there to guide me through motherhood <3

What can I say about my Kuya (the respected Filipino term for an older brother) Mark. What you see is what you get. He’s one of the kindest, loving, and selfless people I know. He’s also quite charming and you know how Asians don't raisin(never seem to age)? Well that's him too. He truly means the world to me. Despite our age gap, we’ve always had a close bond. Like my sister, he’s taken care of me, been so supportive of me, and I have him to thank for my love and appreciation for the arts. Kuya, Kevin wanted to say a little something too…Mark is one of the nicest guys I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know. Such a genuine person when you talk with him. Very honored to have him in our wedding.

One of my best friends. We play softball and hockey together. All-around great guy. Nick’s older brother Will and I were best friends growing up, living just 2 blocks away from each other. Playing wiffle ball, playing basketball, and swimming were what we all seemed to do every summer growing up. Nick and the Roberts family are like family. I am proud that Nick will be a part of my wedding. Nick, I feel like I've learned so much about you and your family just by hearing all the stories Kev's told me! He has so much love for you all you'd think he IS a Roberts. You both really need to start playing on the same teams! Because quite honestly I get so torn on who to root for!
Ellen Lara

My dearest Ellen Mae. We met the summer of ‘06 at a PBA( Philippine Basketball Association) league where friends played on Saturdays. I started coming to watch the games more frequently and eventually met Ellen. I'm almost positive that our first few interactions consisted of no words but smiles and giggles. But that's what I love about our friendship. No words necessary! Tons of my favorite memories have been with Ellen and I'm so grateful for Snapchat so I can look back at some of them. Ellen is that best friend you can count on to be present for your biggest moments in life. She better know that she can count on me too! I think that one time I basically kidnapped her (Ellen wasn't supposed to leave her house) solidified our friendship <3
