One of Julie's favorite Downtown Detroit brunch spots. Recommendation: The Very Berry French Toast or Chicken and Waffles! Space is limited inside the restaurant so I suggest on trying to get there early or you may have to wait to be seated.

Julie's second favorite brunch spot! Also must recommend on arriving early due to the limited seating.

Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory (located on Belle Isle)

This might be a great stop for our guests to explore prior to heading to the cocktail reception since the Detroit Yacht Club is located on its own island off of Belle Isle. *Free Admission & Parking :) The Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory is an exotic and rare collection of plants from around the world. It is the oldest continually-running conservatory in the United States and is divided into five distinct sections: Palm House, the Tropical House, the Cactus House, a sunken Fernery, and the Show House.
