Things To Do

There are so many amazing adventures to be had at Lake Tahoe. Sugar Bowl Resort is about 15 min outside of North Lake Tahoe in the Donner Summit area. This area has Donner Lake and tons of stuff to do. Still, especially for those who have never been, we would love for you to experience the majestic blue waters of North Lake Tahoe. There are innumerable hikes and vistas in the area. You can head to Kings Beach or Commons beach to rent kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, etc. Tahoe City and Truckee offer eclectic shops and tasty restaurants. Yuba River offers premiere fly fishing. We want you see why we love it up here and we think you'll understand once you see the views, even just from your car. Lake Tahoe itself is huge and there are different attractions in North and South Lake Tahoe. We recommend staying in the North Lake Tahoe area since the shortest route to South Lake Tahoe is about an hour.
