Sugar Bowl Resort

WE HAVE THE RESORT TO OURSELVES FOR THE WEEKEND! Explore the mountains. Hike, climb, ride, etc. One of the oldest ski resorts in California, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney.

Historic Truckee

Everyone's favorite place to stroll is historic downtown Truckee, where the train whistle, birds, art galleries and patio dining scene eases you into a relaxed state of mind. Foodies will find world class culinary options spanning just a few short blocks. History buffs can take take in the historic downtown tour.

Squaw Valley Aerial Tram

Take the sky tram to the Base Camp for spectacular views and fun activities (including a pool). Plenty of shops and dining in the Village.

Kings Beach

Bask in the splendor of Lake Tahoe's crystal clear waters and scenic mountains. Kings Beach is also a great scenic place to check out. You can grab some food and enjoy it out on a picnic table on the beach. There are water sports everywhere as well as some easy hikes. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats, and jet skis at Kings Beach.

Truckee River Rafting

Donner Summit Canyon is the gateway to perhaps the most important square mile in California’s history. Enjoy a hike featuring scenic views of Donner Lake, Native American petroglyphs, and rock climbers on China Wall.

Northstar California Resort

Only resort open for mountain biking in the summer. Also enjoy shops, dining and other activities in the Village.

Fly Fishing

The Truckee and Tahoe area boast many great spots for fly fishing. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced angler, there are many options to enjoy a day on the water.
