Crystal has been by Rashieta's side for 15 years, ever since they became sisters through Delta. She’s her rock, her confidant, and her best friend—the one Rashieta can trust with every secret and every dream. Life with Crystal is always an adventure, whether they’re traveling somewhere new, dancing until their feet hurt, or simply laughing until their cheeks ache. Crystal's loyalty, love, and sisterhood means everything to Rashieta. In fact, if there's a time no other friend can calm or get Rashieta to reason, they call Crystal, because she will always listen to her. She knows Crystal has her best interest at heart. Rashieta always says she trusts Crystal with her life, so of course she couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her right there by her side.

Growing up, Anton was always giving him a hard time and he experienced some adversity in his teenage years. But I'm happy to have had the opportunity to watch him blossom into the man he is today. He has a loving partner and two beautiful girls now ( who would've known?!). Darian is known for his humor, charm, writing ability, amongst other things. Darian and Anton have travelled all around the world together, played together, laughed together, cried together. Sure he's Anton's younger brother but he's always been able to give Anton words of wisdom and has always kept him in tune with his emotions. Through the ups and downs, Darian and Anton have always looked out for each other and Darian has always lived by the saying "I am my brother's keeper".

For over 14 years, Lidia has been more than a friend—she’s been family. Lidia and Rashieta grown from young women, partying from Broad Ripple to Las Vegas to finding their way to strong women building families and businesses. Through late-night laughs, unforgettable celebrations, graduations, babies, and even moments of loss, Lidia has always been the kind of friend who shows up with humor, love, and a glass of wine in hand. Her fun, spirited personality has been a constant reminder that joy can be found even in the hardest of seasons—and that every milestone is sweeter when shared with your best friend. Over the years, the two have become sisters, a bond that can't be broken.

Brandon Smith

Best Man

Brandon is like the big brother you didn't know you needed. Brandon has modeled how to be a great husband and father to the people that know him. Known for his storytelling and his love for films and filmmaking. When he tells you a story from his life, it has a certain cinematic flare to it. He also has the ability to guide people through tough situations. He is the wise friend you can go to for advice when you don't know how to handle a situation. He has assisted Anton through countless situations dating back to the Ball State days, to now. It's amazing to see the transition from crazy college kids to fathers and husbands.

Lisa Harton

Lisa is full of spunk, strength, beauty, and wisdom, and her friendship with Rashieta has been shaped by seven years of intimate book club gatherings, where their love of stories runs as deep as their conversations. From Christmases and brunches to cozy fall retreats—or even late nights watching scary movies—she’s been a constant source of joy and connection. Some of their best moments are impromptu and spontaneous like taking day trips to Cincinnati and Louisville. Lisa knows how to bring the fun while also being the one who makes Rashieta feel safe. After Rashieta lost her mother, Lisa had a way of knowing how to bring her comfort. Her presence alone brings a calm in the center of a storm. Rashieta is so grateful to have her by her side on this journey.

Kyle Hawkins

Kyle is the sociable, down to earth, hospitable, and cool person. Kyle has been a solid friend throughout the years and has always opened his home whenever any of his friends comes into Chicago to visit. He has big heart and he looks out for the ones he cares for. Kyle has a way of making someone feel like they're loved or cared for no matter what the circumstances may be. When Kyle and Anton first met, it was Kyle who was friendly and immediately treated Anton like a brother, even though they had just met. Fast forward, and they're both in a fraternity. That was one of the main reasons that Anton joined Phi Beta Sigma; the brotherhood that they displayed amongst each other.

Sade Carter

Sade and Rashieta met by pure fate at a karaoke night—one brief introduction and and a few lines dances and it was on and poppin, literally. They bonded instantly over their love of music, fashion, creativity, and motherhood, and before they knew it, four years of friendship felt like a decade. Their vibe was so strong that after knowing each other less than a year, they decided to launch a business together, co-founding the luxury balloon décor company, Poppin Pearl LLC. Sade is the kind of friend who can make work feel like play. She is full of good energy, maintains a positive attitude, and is a natural charmer. (That's why she's so good at providing excellent customer service. lol) . Known for hosting a good time, it wouldn't be a full bridal party without her bringing her sparkle to this celebration.

Carl Ives

Carl and Anton originally met through Phi Beta Sigma. He was the one who could hold Anton accountable at a time when not many could. At a time when Anton struggled personally and academically in his life, Carl was a solid friend who would show up to Anton's apartment to do homework/study together that last semester in college. Over the years, Carl has gotten married and given Anton advice on how to be a better partner who listens, is patient, and understanding. Carl is the friend who's going to keep it 100% with you. In a world full of "Yes, Men" it's good to have a friend like Carl on your side. He's the one that'll tell you, "No, Nigga".

Alicia Quash

Alicia and Rashieta have been partners-in-crime since 3rd grade—almost 30 years of friendship! True to her Scorpio spirit, she’s charismatic, adventurous, and just the right amount of unpredictable. She’s the friend with a random fact for every occasion and a life hack for anything a girl could ever need. Fierce, loyal, and always showing up when it matters most, Alicia is the kind of friend who brings both the fire and the heart. Rashieta often hosts events, and can count on Alicia to show up with food, drinks and gifts with overwhelming support, even if she's just dropping by for a little while. Rashieta and Alicia's life-long friendship mau be 30 years old, but a new journey is just beginning in these next chapters of life.

Joey Garnett

Joey is someone who is intelligent, considerate, and the man has style. Joey is someone who loves to travel, one minute he's in D.C. and the next thing you know, he's popping up in your city. After Rob and Brandon left BSU, Joey and Anton's relationship grew stronger. Joey was always a social butterfly and it forced Anton to get out and learn to enjoy new experiences. Joey has always bought D.C. wherever he's gone and gives people a different perspective on life. Joey is the gel to F.O.U.R.M.U.L.A. of Blue; he's always the one who know's everyone's contact info, who's married to whom, how many kids they got, where they live, etc. Joey is the person you rely on when you want to organize a function or trip together.

Cheyenne Richardson

Cheyenne and Rashieta first met as teachers at Allisonville, and over the past 10+ years they’ve grown into mentors and motivators for one another. She’s a driven educator, leader, and intellectual—but don’t get it twisted, she can also hit the Jiggalate with the best of them. What makes their friendship so special is that they know how to stand on business while never compromising a good time. Cheyenne brings brilliance, balance, and joy, and Rashieta is so grateful to have her by her side. One time at Allisonville, Cheyenne advocated against their principal that it was imperative for Rashieta to experience a conference that ended up impacting the trajectory of Rashieta's educational career. Ever since this act of kindness and support, Rashieta knew that Cheyenne is the type of person who shares their light with others and the two have been a dynamic duo ever since.

Cedric Wilson

Groomsman

Cedric, or Ced, as we call him, is known for having a gentle soul. Back at BSU, Ced was an RA and was well respected around campus. Ced has always been gifted with biceps and triceps from the gods, so he used to have the women falling out. Ced was the "old head" Sigma and was responsible for bringing in his best friend, Carl; and Carl would go on to bring in Anton as a Sigma. Ced's line was known for their academic achievements and upholding the organization's motto, "Brotherhood, Scholarship, Service". Ced has set the standard on what it means to be an amazing Sigma Man, husband, and friend. Ced's wife, Megan, is an amazing woman. She responsible for talking some sense into Anton during a time when he needed a wake-up call. She said (in a loving way, of course) "Anton, your friends love you." This encouraged Anton to continue to reach out to his friends and be more intentional about maintaining those friendships until this day.

Krystal Stallings-Morrisey

Krystal is the friend who always keeps the positive vibes flowing and embodies what it means to be a true girl’s girl. She goes above and beyond to lift others up and is always looking for ways to create opportunities for those who deserve them. Whether they’re traveling for business at national conferences such as Columbus and Vegas or for fun in Nashville or Chicago, they always make it a good time together. Krystal has the gift of knowing exactly what to say when Rashieta needs advice—always shared with love and never with judgment. Krystal is not only a friend, but she's a role model. She's an amazing educational leader who stays true to her core values and is great inspiration to others to show that you can be your genuine self as a Black woman-while holding positions of power. Rashieta is grateful for their friendship for so many reasons.

Rob Jones

Groomsman

Robert Jones, aka the Hand of God. Rob was the youngest out of the F.O.U.R.M.U.L.A. of Blue, but that didn't stop him from being the first to graduate from Ball State. Rob was exceptionally intelligent and in his earlier years says he was a little on the wild side. His line brothers wouldn't have guessed that, because he has always been a God-fearing and modest man, since they've known him. Rob went on to have a lovely wife and two children and has been an example of humbleness, calm, and strong faith...things Anton would sometimes needs in his life back then. Rob has shown people that you can turn a new leaf and walk in a path with God, no matter where you are in life. He's been a great example of all the right things you should do in life.
