Wedding Party

Eva Dahl

Maid of Honor

Eva and Randi grew up in the same neighborhood, but sadly did not become fast friends. As young children, Randi initially scared Eva off when she attempted to make Eva run laps around her front yard during a play date. Thankfully, Eva gave Randi another chance to be friends in middle school, and have been besties ever since. Eva and Randi even lived together in Phoenix for their travel nurse contract when Antero and Randi first met. Eva and Randi’s perfect day would include a hike at Cowles Bog, lunch at Lemon Tree, and finally getting all dressed up for a night out at The Rec Room.

Mahassine Benjelloul

Matron of Honor

Mahassine was one of Randi’s preceptors and co-workers at Methodist Hospital, Randi’s first job as a nurse back in 2016. Mahassine is a fiery Moroccan who moved to the states at just 18 years old. Their friendship was set in stone when Mahassine invited Randi and Robyn for a night out at Alhambra to share a bit of her culture. Randi and Mahassine’s perfect day would start by boarding a plane to anywhere in the world. They would watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at the exact same time on their flight. No matter where they land, they would have the best time exploring together.

Chrissy Griffin

Bridesmaid

Chrissy and Randi met in 2012 while both working at their local (and what would become their favorite) Mexican restaurant, El Cantarito. They quickly bonded over their mutual love of nature and music, attending several music festivals together over the years. Chrissy and Randi’s perfect day out would start with a mimosa, include an afternoon boat ride, share an order of cheesesteak tacos (made with chicken, not steak) with a large frozen marg for dinner, and finally conclude with an R&C Special (Jameson and Sprite) nightcap on the deck of Duffy’s.

Robyn Lane

Bridesmaid

Robyn and Randi met working together at Methodist in 2016. It wasn’t long before they discovered they were “Soul Sisters”, feeling more like family than just friends. They love to “celebrate life” as often as possible, in both big and little ways. Their perfect day together would start with a class at Orangetheory, followed by a hot cup of lavender earl grey tea from Uptown Cafe. Next they would go for an afternoon hike at the dunes, then sip on a cocktail at Stacks rooftop while the sun sets.

Lindsay Waskiewicz

Bridesmaid

Lindsay was also one of Randi’s nurse preceptors at Methodist Hospital in 2016. They initially bonded over getting their first set of lash extensions together, and have been the best of gal pals ever since. Lindsay and Randi’s perfect day would consist of lots of big back behavior while simultaneously lounging on the beach, sending 90 day fiancé and Moo Deng memes to eachother, and playing with Lindsay’s tiny mini-me, Baby Eva.

Gina Paunicka

Bridesmaid

Gina and Randi were thankfully brought together through Covid. At the recommendation of Chrissy, Gina helped to dog-sit Nala and Guapo while Randi was gone on a travel nursing contract. The two of them quickly became friends, spending summer days together having fun in the sun when Randi was off and at home. Nowadays, their perfect day together would start with a nice iced coffee and deviled egg on their way to a full day at the spa for pampering. After their facial, scalp treatment, full body massage, and mani/pedi, they would finish the day with a feast of dinner and drinks at Leeds Public House.

Charity Cole

Bridesmaid

Charity also grew up in Porter Cove, with Eva and Randi. However, Randi and Charity did not have any classes together until 6th grade, which is when they finally got to know eachother. It didn’t take long to figure out that they shared the same silly-goose-goofball-looney-toon sense of humor. Now Charity lives in Casa Grande, AZ with her husband, and doesn’t get to spend nearly as much time in The Region as Randi would like her to. Even so, whenever they are reunited it as though no time has passed at all. Randi and Charity’s perfect day would be spent in Randi’s parents basement, eating bourbon chicken and sushi, playing The Sims on their laptops, and preforming interpretive dance while loudly singing along to The Moulin Rouge.

Rylie Egnor

Bridesmaid

Rylie is Randi’s younger sister by 4 years. While the two did not always get along in their younger years, they are now grateful to have each other as more than sisters, but as friends. Randi and Rylie’s perfect day together would consist of watching old home movies, eating noodles with cottage cheese, and dancing to a mix of all genres imaginable under a well lit disco ball.

Michael Putko

Best Man

Michael and I have known each other since the fifth grade. Back then, he lived right across the street from our grade school, so when the final bell rang, we’d head to his house and play video games for hours—almost every single day. Safe to say, we became best friends pretty quickly. As we grew older, our bond only got stronger, and our friendship has stood the test of time. Michael has followed suit in moving to the Midwest, and now lives just 2 hours away in Kalamazoo, MI.

Tyler Bishop

Groomsman

Tyler and I have known each other since our freshman year of high school back in 2008. Tyler was always our favorite shitbilly, Tyler always drive big trucks through our high school career. Back in the day, we’d have lake parties out at the back of Lake Pleasant. The boys and I would load up into Tyler’s truck and head out for a good time. Over the years, Tyler and I have grown up, and so has our friendship. Nowadays, Tyler is holding it down in AZ with his fiancé and their two adorable little girls.

Mike Ledesma

Groomsman

Mike and I became friends during our freshman year of high school as well! Fun fact—most people probably don’t know that I actually saved Mike’s life once when we were working out together. So yeah, he owes me! Playing ball and hitting the gym together built a strong bond between us and led to the brotherhood we share today. There are way too many good stories to tell about this dude. Mike and his wife Maggie were there the night Randi and I met, and really helped talk Randi into going on a real date with me. Come to think of it, maybe it’s I who owes him! Appreciate you and our friendship, brotha.

Guy Williams

Groomsman

I’ve known Guy since the fifth grade. I still remember my first day after switching to Foothills Elementary—Guy was rocking a Donovan McNabb jersey. Funny enough, he’s a Ravens fan now (bandwagon much?). Guy, a few of our other buddies, and I used to play touch football in the street until it got dark. He was always tough. On the field, we played football side by side—he was a middle linebacker, and I was an outside linebacker. We have always held each other accountable and pushed each other to be better. But, his favorite football team isn’t the only life changing switch he’s made. Now I know what you’re thinking, but no, he’s isn’t a woman now. However, he is a Canadian! Guy and his wife live just 4 hours away in Windsor, Canada. Thanks for all the great memories, brother. Here’s to many more ahead!

Kameel Alkhouri

Groomsman

Kameel and I have also known each other since the fifth grade, and for a few years, we even lived in the same neighborhood. We used to watch Scary Movie and cry laughing every single time. The next day at school, we’d recite our favorite parts and end up dying laughing all over again. He’s been my boy for a long time! Whenever Randi and I visit Phoenix, we love meeting up for brunch with Kameel and his fiancé !

Alex Costanzo

Groomsman

Alex and I have been friends since our freshman year of high school, so it only makes sense to have him in my wedding party! Whenever Alex and I get together, things always get crazy, leaving us with lifelong stories we still laugh about today. Alex was always the fast driver, constantly getting into trouble with the law. He was also the guy who couldn’t resist drifting in the dirt at our lake parties. Alex and his fiancé are still burning rubber up and down the streets of AZ to this day. Cheers to you, and to our unbreakable brotherhood!

JT Hinson

Groomsman

JT and I have been friends since our freshman year of high school. He played football with all of us but always seemed to enjoy wrestling with the guys more… kinda weird, haha. JT has always been a great friend. If you needed solid, honest advice, he was the guy to talk to. We also used to work out in my garage gym pretty often, and those were always good times. JT has kept that fit mentality and even works for Orangetheory (the same gym Randi and I go to), living out his dreams on the Cali coast. Here’s to many more years of friendship, brother!

Dre Khamou

Groomsman

I’ve known Dre—well, his whole life, actually, considering he’s my little brother. Growing up, he was always a pain in my ass, constantly trying to play my video games and somehow getting me into trouble. It’s been awesome watching him grow into the young man he is today. He loves his truck, his guns, and his buddies. Maybe a little too much…hmm… All jokes aside, Dre has turned into quite the young man, and I couldn’t be prouder of him. Thanks for always keeping me on my toes, brother. Love you!
