John Lautner was one of the most important American architects of the twentieth century. After reading Frank Lloyd Wright’s autobiography, Lautner applied to Wright’s Taliesin Fellowship in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He served from 1933 to 1939 as one of Wright’s original Taliesin Fellows. Lautner adopted Wright’s philosophy of “organic architecture”, which promotes harmony between man and nature by exploring the interplay of people, spaces, and the natural and built environments. The Lautner Compound is comprised of four exquisitely designed properties all adjacent to one another. The Park is our 10,000 square foot open air event space where wedding ceremonies are held. The Ranch House is a 1957 California bungalow which is an extension of our guest services with outdoor lounge areas and restrooms. This is where the wedding reception will be held. The Club House is the wedding suite for the couple to share with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We affectionately refer to the four Lautner Living Units as The Lautner Compound. The Lautner Compound is located in Desert Hot Springs which is only a 15 minute drive from the heart of Palm Springs.
Please arrive right at 4:00pm, use the restroom, grab a refreshment and find your seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm.
Formal attire is required at The Lautner Compound
Unfortunately, children outside of our most immediate family will not be allowed to join.

While we agree that the more is the merrier, due to venue capacity limitations, we are only able to accommodate who is listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.
If you are not in the wedding party, and do not wish to stay at L3 Oasis, there are many other wonderful hotels or airbnbs in the Palm Springs or Desert Hot Springs area. We recommend booking early for the best nightly rate.
