Most of you know we share a love for exploring new places and cultures. So after Ramune's grad school graduation last May, we took a road trip up to Maine explore the Northeast—and this is when we got engaged! The proposal itself was on a mountain in Vermont, but we really fell in love with the nature and the charming sea towns on the coast of Maine. Our visits to Maine brought back memories of our walks through the pine forests of Lithuania, the New England charm of Philadelphia, and the beautiful autumns at Miami University (one of which first brought us together). We couldn't think of a better place to bring our friends and family together and share this beautiful, little piece of the world. We can't wait to share the day with you!

We're planning to spend time with friends and family during the wedding itself, and hope to schedule a honeymoon for 2020. Suggestions are welcome! Update: We also decided to spend a few days post-wedding in Portland, ME, for what is apparently referred to as a "minimoon." We're looking forward to it!
