Join us at our home for an evening of delicious food, drinks, and great company as we celebrate ahead of the big day. This is a perfect chance to mingle and get to know other guests before the wedding. Since our home is about an hour away from the Renaissance Legacy West Hotel, we recommend out-of-town guests consider booking a room in Sherman, TX, where there are plenty of options, including the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and more. We can’t wait to start the celebration with you!

In lieu of a traditional rehearsal dinner, we’re excited to invite everyone to join us for a Welcome Party at the stunning Renaissance Legacy West. This celebration will take place on the rooftop pool plaza, where you can enjoy refreshing cocktails, delicious bites, and live DJ music as the sunset paints the sky. With incredible views, great vibes, and tasty food, it's the perfect way to start the weekend and make unforgettable memories with friends and family.

For guests staying at the Renaissance Legacy West Hotel or the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center, shuttles provided by Premiere Transportation will begin departing from the hotel starting at 5pm. The Hall of Lights is just a short 10-minute ride away. Buses will also be traveling to and from at scheduled intervals throughout the evening, so guests can easily go to and from the venue as needed.

Our outdoor wedding ceremony will be an intimate celebration surrounded by the beauty of nature, with no more than 220 of our closest friends and family gathered to witness this special moment. We’ll be serenaded by a beautiful string quartet, setting the tone for a romantic and unforgettable experience. While we’re hoping for perfect weather, we do have a backup plan to move the ceremony indoors in case of inclement conditions. Either way, we can’t wait to share this meaningful day with you as we exchange vows and begin this new chapter together.

At 11:15pm, Darryl and Jon will be whisked away in a tastefully restored 1949 Rolls Royce for a private moment to take in the events of the day. Meanwhile, all guests returning to the Renaissance Legacy West Hotel will be returned via shuttle provided by Premiere Transportation at 11:30pm.

At midnight, Darryl and Jon will return to celebrate one last time with those who want to keep the party going. Connected to the main lobby of the Renaissance Legacy West Hotel is a stylish cash bar, Whiskey Moon, offering a selection of craft beers, artisanal cocktails, and Asian fusion cuisine. It's the perfect spot to have one last celebration before the night comes to a close. This is a 21+ atmosphere.
