Caitlin's maternal grandmother lost her battle to Alzheimer's in 2020, and Rahul's maternal grandmother also suffered from dementia. The Alzheimer's Association raises funds for Alzheimer's research in the hopes that, one day, there will be a cure.

Anthony Rizzo (a former Cub and a former Yankee) was diagnosed with cancer shortly after his baseball career began. He successfully won his battle against the disease, and started a foundation to help provide financial and emotional support to children and their families who are battling cancer.

Shanti Bhavan is a boarding school exclusively for children born into India's lowest socioeconomic class. The school provides high-quality education from pre-kindergarten through college to help break the generational cycle of poverty. Their commitment to each and every child is from the first day of school to the first day of work. Caitlin and Rahul highly recommend the Netflix special on the school called Daughters of Destiny.

We both are huge wildlife lovers, and the Wildlife Conservation Society does extensive work around the world to protect wildlife, particularly endangered species. Rahul and Caitlin also run the Bronx Zoo Run for the Wild every year with Caitlin's family to support the Wildlife Conservation Society!

We both have a deep appreciation for the individuals who serve this country, and believe they deserve the best care, supports, and resources when they return home.
