Things To Do

San Diego is a terrific place to visit (and not just for the weather). Below are some of the sites and activities we're fond of. Please shoot us any questions if you'd like more info.

Balboa Park

San Diego, CA
, (619) 239-0512

We love Balboa. It's a beautiful, large park, with museums, historic sites, and trails. It's also home to the San Diego Zoo.

Coronado Island

Coronado, CA 92118

Coronado Island is a resort town located across the bay from downtown San Diego. It has wonderful hotels, shops, and beaches. Having a cocktail along the water is not inexpensive, but it is memorable, particularly at sunset. Fun fact for all of the geography folks: Coronado Island is not actually an island, but a peninsula. But don't tell that to the people there; they will not care. At all.

USS Midway Museum

910 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101
, (619) 544-9600

Torrey Pines State Reserve

12600 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037
, (858) 755-2063

We recommend walking along the beach at Torrey Pines State Park. It runs along beautiful cliff faces, and is home (perhaps unsurprisingly) to the Torrey pine - a tree found nowhere else on earth.

Cabrillo National Monument

San Diego, CA 92106

San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101
, (619) 231-1515

We are (proud) members of the San Diego Zoo. It's centrally located in Balboa Park. We recommend the meerkats, tapirs, and giraffes. The capybaras bring us no small measure of joy as well.

Point Loma

San Diego, CA

Liberty Station

San Diego, CA

This area houses our rehearsal dinner space, Stone Brewery, but it's well worth taking a larger look.

Downtown

San Diego, CA

Hillcrest

San Diego, CA 92103
