Unless you have particular spots you'd like to visit, or you're going to be staying in San Diego for longer than the weekend, we don't think having a vehicle will be necessary. We'll have shuttles to and from the wedding venue. The wedding hotel, Humphrey's Half Moon Inn, is only about a seven-minute Uber ride from the airport. San Diego also has a bevy of rental bikes and scooters. You simply unlock them with your smartphone, and leave them wherever you'd like. If you're curious, see limebike.com
In short, no. San Diegans call it the "May grey, June gloom." It tends to burn off around 10:00am. If you're going to be out for the day, don't be fooled by the AM cloud cover. There's a fair-to-high chance that it'll be endlessly sunny in the afternoon, and you'll be asking a loved one to hold your parka, as you've grown tired of carrying it.
San Diego has many strong suits. Public transit generally isn't considered one of them. There are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts, though, and they are reasonably priced.
It's on Shelter Island, just west of the airport. 2303 Shelter Island Dr. San Diego, CA 92106 Phone: 619-224-3411

It didn't work. To RSVP, please just send back the hardcopy slip that came with the invite. Or, if you no longer have that, simply shoot Rachel or Karl an email.
Cocktail attire. For the gentlemen, no jacket or tie required. If you enjoy wearing a suit, please don't hesitate to do so.
