Question

Can I camp on the chateau grounds?

Answer

Yes, if you would like to bring your camping equipment or camper van you can camp on the grounds. We can also organise some glamping tents on site, which would be at your expense. If you choose to do this you should note the following: - We'll ask you to pay a small contribution to cover breakfast at the chateau - There is only one shared toilet/ shower available so you will be sharing with whoever else may camp and you will be expected to clean up after yourself as this will be the main bathroom used by guests during the wedding events.

Puis-je camper sur le terrain du château ?

Answer

Oui, si vous souhaitez apporter votre matériel de camping ou votre camping-car, vous pouvez camper sur le terrain. Nous pouvons également organiser des tentes confortables sur place, qui seraient à vos frais. Si vous choisissez de procéder ainsi, vous devez noter les points suivants : - Nous vous demanderons de payer une petite contribution pour couvrir le petit-déjeuner au château - Il n'y a qu'une seule toilette/douche commune disponible, vous la partagerez donc avec toute autre personne pouvant camper et vous devrez nettoyer après vous car ce sera la salle de bain principale utilisée par les invités lors des événements de mariage.

How do I know if I can stay at the chateau or if I need to find accommodation?

Answer

While we would love to have all of our guests stay at the chateau with us, unfortunately there isn't room for everyone. We've reached out individually to those who we can accommodate at the chateau. If you haven't received an offer, then you can go ahead and book your accommodation nearby. If there's someone who no longer wishes to stay at the chateau, or can't attend, then we'll let you know if a spot opens up.

Comment savoir si je peux séjourner au château ou si je dois trouver un logement ?

Nous aimerions que tous nos invités séjournent au château avec nous, mais il n'y a malheureusement pas de place pour tout le monde. Nous avons contacté individuellement ceux que nous pouvons accueillir au château. Si vous n'avez pas reçu d'offre, vous pouvez alors réserver votre hébergement à proximité. S'il y a quelqu'un qui ne souhaite plus rester au château ou ne peut pas y assister, nous vous ferons savoir si une place se libère.

Will there be transport organised between the chateau and my accommodation?

Answer

We hope to organise a driver to transport guests to and from the venue on The Big Day who are not staying in walking distance from the venue. We'll provide more info on this when we can. For the events on 24 and 26 May, you can park on site or use local taxi options. We've provided the numbers of the taxis below. Many of them speak English. Y aura-t-il un transport organisé entre le château et mon logement ?

Pour le Jour J, nous espérons pouvoir organiser un chauffeur pour transporter les invités qui ne seraient pas à distance de marche du château. Nous fournirons plus d’informations à ce sujet lorsque nous le pourrons. En dehors du jour J, vous pourrez réserver vos taxis ou vous garer dans le parking du château. What if I can't make it to all of the events for the weekend?

Answer

No problem! When you RSVP, you'll be asked to RSVP to each of the weekend's events, so we know which ones you can come to. We understand that you might have other commitments to get to. If you can only make it to one event, we hope it will be for 'The Big Day'.

Que faire si je ne peux pas assister à tous les événements du week-end ?

Answer

Could I stay at the chateau if I choose to extend my holiday for the 27th-29th May?

Answer

Yes. Even if you're not staying at the chateau for the main events, if you want to stay for the extra days, it's extremely likely there'll be some rooms available to stay in for the extra days. Let us know if you'd like to do this.

Puis-je rester au château si je choisis de prolonger mes vacances du 27 au 29 mai ?

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

There is no smoking allowed in any of the inside areas of the chateau. There will be designated smoking areas for people who want to smoke.

Will you be accommodating dietary requirements?

Answer

We will accommodate common dietary requirements such as vegetarian, gluten or dairy free. If you have a unique dietary requirement or you're worried you won't be able to eat much, you're also welcome to bring and store any food in the kitchen fridge. We'll ask you for your dietary requirements when you RSVP and we'll do our best to make sure everyone can eat something.

Nous répondrons aux besoins alimentaires courants tels que les plats végétariens, sans gluten ou sans produits laitiers. Si vous avez un régime alimentaire particulier ou si vous craignez de ne pas pouvoir manger beaucoup, vous pouvez également apporter et conserver vos aliments dans le réfrigérateur de la cuisine. Nous vous demanderons vos besoins alimentaires lorsque vous confirmerez votre présence et nous ferons de notre mieux pour que tout le monde puisse partager les repas.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your partner is invited, their name was written on the invitation/envelope. We're organising an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family and unfortunately we haven't been able to give everyone a plus one. We hope you'll understand.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

We know a few of our guests have babies/ very young children so babies under the age of 2 years old are welcome, but we'd prefer you find a babysitter if they're older than that.

Nous savons que certains de nos invités ont des bébés/très jeunes enfants, donc les bébés de moins de 2 ans sont les bienvenus, mais nous préférerions que vous trouviez une baby-sitter s'ils sont plus âgés que cela.

Will the ceremony be in French or English?

Answer

A little bit of both! Everyone will be able to understand some, but possibly not all, of the ceremony and speeches. Practising some French before you come is encouraged!
