Zara's Center was founded by Rachel's close family friends - the Goldwasser-Plutzik family. It is an after-school safe haven for children who have been impacted by HIV and other vulnerable children in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe - where Rachel's mother Caron was born and raised.
The Center provides daily meals, academic enrichment, medical care, work training, recreation, an agricultural program, and artistic development to over 125 children. For more info visit: https://www.zarascenter.org.
