Tom and Rachel were each other's first boy/girlfriend. They met working at summer camp, but didn't start dating until the winter after they met. Tom and Rachel dated for two years, going to separate schools and then coming together during the summer to return to camp. However, the lack of fully developed brains was their downfall. They broke up in 2017, didn't speak at all for 3 years, and both fully believed they parted ways for good. But then, surprise! In 2020, that thing happened. Perspectives shifted. The old camp group thought enough time had lapsed, and decided to rent an Airbnb together like old times. That first night, around a campfire, Tom threw a stick into the fire and dedicated to Rachel. Turns out, they still really liked each other! And now their brains worked all the way! To each other's surprise as much as everyone else's, they fell right back in love. At the time, Tom was living in Philly and Rachel in Connecticut. A year later, Rachel moved down to Philly (go birds) and the rest is history ❤️
