Yes, kids are welcome, there will be plenty of munchkins running around at all the events. For folks traveling and interested in a day off kid-duty to celebrate, we recommend using CB baby sitters- https://www.cbbabysitters.com/
We are asking that everyone be vaccinated and boostered. All activities will be outdoors. We will update this question as we get closer to the event with any additional precautions we decide on.
For the wedding day, shoes for walking on uneven surfaces, a wedding outfit that you could ride a bike in if you want to join the bike parade, warm layers and a coat for the reception. Other things that you might want to bring to enjoy Fall in Crested Butte include hiking shoes, warm layers for hiking, and a mountain bike.
September is a beautiful time of year in Crested Butte. Expect sunny, crisp days and chilly nights. Daytime temps are typically in the 60's and often drop to 30 in the evenings. A snowstorm in September is not unheard of and we will embrace the beauty of aspen leaves and snow capped peaks if that happens. Bringing a warm, winter hat and coat is a great idea to ensure you are prepared and comfortable during the reception. As is always a good idea in Colorado, check the forecast the week of the event to see if we will be enjoying sunshine or snow showers.
