For all of the NYC guests, Mike and I typically take the train in to D.C. It's fast, relatively quiet and doesn't have too many stops. There's also a cafe car with Hebrew National hotdogs if your hungry along the way! Tons of cabs right outside Union Station when you get there or --there's always uber.

For those coming from NYC and wanting to avoid Amtrak prices, Bolt Bus is a great option- one way tickets start around $20! You can hop off at Union Station or Dupont Circle depending on where you stay and when you get in.

Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Reagan is the closest airport to downtown D.C., if you find cheaper flights into Dulles (IAD) that works too!

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

If flights from your city are better times/prices/airlines into IAD, no prob- it's an easy ride into D.C. just a little longer than DCA.
