Mike made a quick decision based on geographical loneliness and now he's stuck with the consequences- a pet that will likely outlive him and certainly out-scream him. Mike is confident his decision-making in asking Rachel to marry him was more well-thought-through.

Only shrieking at the top of his lungs when he wants attention... and in the morning...and night...ok and afternoon. Oh and trying to -literally- bite your finger off when you try to pet him. But other than that...

200 names went into a hat, 12 came out.

Does Bailey have any redeeming qualities?

Answer

Bailey actually has moments of being really sweet. He says "I love you" and he loves to snack on fruits and nuts. When you give him a treat, he'll smile with his eyes and say "Yum yum yum".
