Largest airport in Michigan to fly into if you're looking for a lot of flight options. About a four hour drive to Charlevoix from here.

Traverse City Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)

Closest airport to our wedding to fly into, but is also the smallest. There likely won't be as many flight options and they will likely be more expensive, however it is only about a one hour drive to Charlevoix from here.

Charlevoix Drawbridge Delays

Please note that there is a drawbridge in downtown Charlevoix that goes up every 30 minutes on the hour/half hour marks and will completely halt traffic into the city. The Charlevoix Marathon is also taking place on our wedding date, and there will be lane closures on the main street (US-31) while crossing the bridge. Please keep this in mind while making arrangements for the ceremony if attending.

VRBO, Airbnb, or Northern Michigan Escapes

If interested in renting a property (home or condo) in the area, we recommend checking out these three sites for your best options. The sooner you look, the more likely you'll be able to find a place as property tends to book very quickly in Northern MI during the summer. One thing to note is that many properties do require some type of minimum for how many nights you must book for during the summer.

There are several more great hotel options in Petoskey, which is approximately a 25-30 minute drive from the venue. Some potential suggestions are: AmercInn by Wyndham Petoskey, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn & Suites, and more. We do not have blocks or discounts with any of these options, but they may be available at lower rates than Charlevoix hotels.
