Is there a dress code?

We'd love to see everyone dressed up with us! We're requesting cocktail attire for our event, such as suits and cocktail dresses.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've made the decision to host an adult-only ceremony and reception, which we hope all of our guests understand. We respectfully ask that you bring only those guests who are addressed on your formal invitation.

How busy can we expect downtown Charlevoix to be?

Answer

VERY! The Charlevoix Marathon is also taking place on Saturday morning. There are going to be lane closures, so please plan for delays when considering what time you need to leave to get to the ceremony on-time.

What times does the drawbridge go up?

Answer

There is a drawbridge in downtown Charlevoix that goes up every 30 minutes (on the hour and thirty minute mark). It can significantly back traffic up in the downtown area, so we suggest that you plan to leave a bit earlier to account for backups.

Is there parking at the reception venue and if so, can I leave my vehicle overnight?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available at the reception venue at no charge. If you choose to leave your car here overnight, you'll be able to pick them up between 10AM - 12PM the following day.

What should I do in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Do we need to rent a car or can we get around by Uber and Lyft?

Answer

There is extremely limited availability of Ubers & Lyfts in the area, so if you are flying in from out of state, we may suggest renting a car.
