Walk along the channel between lakes
A nice path to people watch and boat watch on the channel that connects Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix. The drawbridge goes up every 30 minutes on the hour to let the larger boats pass through.
Hit the Lake Michigan waterfront
Great beach spot to check out Lake Michigan and walk the pier to the lighthouse (South Pier Lighthouse).
Walk along the marina
Walk around the marina and look out towards Lake Charlevoix.
Relax in East Park
Large open park to sit and enjoy the weather and northern Michigan atmosphere.
Walk and shop along Bridge Street
Tons of cute shops and boutiques along the main drag in downtown Charlevoix.

Bar hop in Charlevoix
Some cool bars to check out in downtown Charlevoix: The Villager Pub, Bridge Street Tap Room, The Town House Bar, East Park Tavern, Vue Wine Bar.
Petoskey
Good spot to visit for those who may be spending a longer time in town. About a 30 minute drive from downtown Charlevoix. One of our favorite up north towns with tons to do (plus it's where we got engaged!) - wineries & bars, shops & boutiques, and tons of great views of Lake Michigan. Bay Harbor
Good spot to visit for those who may be spending a longer time in town. A ritzy up north beach town about 20 minutes from downtown Charlevoix.
Traverse City
Good spot to visit for those who may be spending a longer time in town. The largest town northern Michigan has to offer with tons of cool spots to check out, including a huge wine country area. Ask us for more specific places to check out if you plan on going here!
