Cocktail attire for guests is recommended. No tux required for men and no floor-length gown required for women (unless you'd like to wear a long dress!). A cocktail dress, more formal sundress, maxi dress, dressy suit or jumpsuit is an example. :)
Unfortunately, we only have 50 spots available for our wedding. If we've included "& Guest" on your invite, then yes! If "& Guest" is not listed, please inquire with us and we can try to make arrangements!

Yes! We are having a welcome party the night before our wedding (Friday, Sept 6) at Coast Gallery from 7-9:30pm. We are also having the traditional rehearsal dinner for only the wedding party and immediate family at Nepenthe Restaurant at 5:00pm prior to the welcome party. Other guests are welcome to also eat there, however, they will have to sit at their own tables + take care of their own meals due to space/kitchen restrictions at the restaurant. RESERVATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED! There are other great restaurants too to choose from in Big Sur!
Unfortunately, no. If our venue discovers any outside alcohol (including flasks / "nippers"), they have the right to kick us out and end the event at the time of noticing outside alcohol. That would be very unfortunate, so please leave your own alcohol where you're staying. We will be providing wine and beer for everyone at the bakery!
Dinner at the bakery will be served family style, so you don't have to choose! Big Sur Bakery's classic family menu is based around some of their favorite dishes; this menu offers a lovely sampling of the flavors of the area. Dinner will include: Seasonal garden salad Seasonal local catch Wood roasted half chicken with garlic gravy Roasted fennel, beets, celery root, carrots and baby bok choy Mashed potatoes with wilted seasonal greens and mushrooms Fresh fruit galette + whipped cream
