After about a year of being friends and co-workers, and a year and a half of dating in Boston, we decided to embark on a three month long trip together throughout Europe in the summer of 2017. Kosta has been working on the video of the Europe trip in his free time and decided to "open" the video with a shot of us in Portugal. The drone shot slowly pans out on the beach revealing Portugals beautiful cliff ridden coastline. He mentioned that he wanted to "close" the video the same way, but now in San Diego - where we decided to move to after our European trip. He explained, the two rugged coastlines are very similar, and he felt it would be a nice way to wrap the video. On a Thursday night, we went to La Jolla (a neighborhood in San Diego) for a little design event. I mentioned to him that it'd be a great night to bring the drone since we'd be in an area with the most beautiful cliffs! He said maybe and said we probably didn't have enough time - even though he had the ring in his pocket all set and ready to go (sneaky guy :))! We grabbed dinner at a lovely spot overlooking the water (that I chose unknowingly) after the event. As we paid the check, it was dusk and he said maybe we can get the shot even though the sun had gone past the horizon already. We got down to the spot, he launched the drone, and said "check out that bird"! As I look away to check out the "bird" (which did not exist...) he took out the ring, and as I turned back, he was getting down on one knee. Not only will we remember this night forever, but we now are able to share this moment with our friends and family, which we love. Enjoy! https://youtu.be/8IomWMK9CYQ
