Travel & Accommodations

Julian, California is a quaint mountain escape located in San Diego County. A historic gold mining town, Julian is known for its apples/apple pie, and some call it the B&B capital of SoCal with its romantic atmosphere. (And we agree!) Below are recommended hotels, B&Bs, and even campgrounds (if that's your style!). Also, we highly recommend you check out the many Airbnb and VRBO options in the Julian area. We suggest a 2-night stay so you can join us for all the fun activities during the weekend: Sat, 4/30 - Mon, 5/2. ***THERE IS NO UBER/LYFT IN JULIAN*** Julian is about 3 hours southeast of Los Angeles and 1 hour east of San Diego. (Rest assured we’ll keep you company on the drive with a fun road trip playlist!) If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car for the weekend. The entire town of Julian is about 7 sq miles, which means all wedding events will be in very close proximity, but you will need a car to get around.
