Why did you choose Islamorada?

Answer

Rachel has been going to the Florida Keys since she was a child. Some of her fondest memories were forged there with her mother and late stepfather, Kirk. He will be with us on our special day in our special place.

Where can one fish?

Answer

Fishing is available off the pier at Cheeca. A few weeks ago, Silas and Maxwell caught a small shark there. For more serious fishing, there are numerous private charters and head boats in the area. It should be noted that “I almost had that big one” is not an acceptable excuse to miss the wedding.

Is Ted really qualified as an officiant?

I guess we’ll find out.

Why do you have two officiants?

Answer

Honestly, we didn’t have much choice in the matter.

How isolated is the area? Are there services available nearby?

Answer

The area has a natural look with beautiful views. There are numerous services available in the area though, so you will able to get your Starbucks fix or pick up any toiletries you may have forgotten.

How do we chose and book our room?

Answer

We are blocking off 6 rooms in order to have our ceremony and reception on the private beach inside the resort. However the resort is huge! There are different types of accommodations and different room locations. If you want to ocean front (aka wedding front) rooms we will help coordinate your stay so you get our special rate!
