Flight
Flights directly into Aspen's airport are super easy and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Aspen. Most hotels do provide complimentary shuttles. Alternatively, fly into Denver and then it's about a 3.5 hour drive to Aspen. This is gorgeous drive in early spring if you have the time, but please check the weather!
Rental Car
There are rental cars available directly at the Aspen Airport, we recommend you book in advance if you plan to rent a car. The City of Aspen offers eight free shuttle routes that will take you all around Aspen & to Snowmass. There are many condo rental options via Airbnb and VRBO in Aspen, Snowmass and the surrounding area. Aspen: Any airbnb / hotel in the city of Aspen will be walking distance to just about everything! Snowmass: Located 15-20 minute drive from Aspen, however there are free shuttles every 15 minutes to/from Snowmass/Aspen. Accommodations here are much more reasonably priced and just slightly out of town. Basalt/Carbondale: These two fun towns are about a 40 minute car ride from Aspen.
