Aspen is an exceptional place to visit any time of year, clearly that's why we live here!! The local's know springtime is Aspen's "Secret Season" where spring bursts into summer; the aspen trees leaf into brilliant green, rivers and streams peak, and the weather is pretty perfect. Many of the best activities happen during April while Aspen's four ski areas are still open, the apres-ski scene is vibrant, the days are longer, and the temperatures are warmer. Bret's sister, and Rachel's soon to be sister-in-law (yay!), Betsy, is the author of popular blog and she recently wrote an article on her and her husband's spring trip to Colorado where they spent a week visiting us and enjoying Snowmass Village and Aspen. You can check out all her recommendations here: https://thebetslife.com/rocky-mountain-high-a-visit-to-aspen-snowmass/ You can also check out the Chamber website here for more information about the "to-do's" in Aspen.
The Aspen Chamber has great details on everything Aspen from what to do, where to eat, how to travel, everything! So we have included it here. For those that do not live in the mountains, altitude can really affect us! Please visit this website for some information about how get prepared for the high altitude.
