Answer

We respectfully request no children at the ceremony or reception. We love your kids but thought you might like a night off. So, adults only please! Children are welcome at any of the other events.

Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

ASAP! If you know you are coming best to book asap because inventory fills up quickly.

Question

What is the weather like in early April?

Answer

Temperatures can range from the 20's to the low 60's. The evenings will be cold! Please bring warm clothes and appropriate shoes for a snowy mountain top as our ceremony will be outside and reception inside.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

BOOTS BOOTS BOOTS!!! Our ceremony will be held outside atop Aspen mountain and you will need to briefly walk on groomed snow to your seat. INSIDE SHOES ...... Once the ceremony is concluded, our cocktail hour and reception will be indoors and you can wear whatever footwear you like!

Question

Should I be worried about altitude sickness?

Answer

The best way to combat altitude sickness is staying hydrated! Ensure you begin hydrating 5 days in advance of travelling to Aspen and continue to hydrate on arrival.

Question

How will alcohol affect me at altitude?

Answer

Aspen sits at an elevation of 7,908 ft. above sea level, and our wedding will be taking place atop Aspen mountain at an elevation of 11,212 feet. Please keep in mind that a glass of wine at sea level feels like two glasses in Aspen. Be careful not to overdue it! Make sure to keep a bottle of Pedialyte handy, which is super helpful to combat dehydration (and is not just for kids) :)

For all the days along the way
