Where is Jekyll Island?

Answer

Located on the East coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Jekyll Island lies less than 15 miles from Brunswick in the Southeastern-most part of Georgia.

Question

Why Jekyll Island? And why a wedding on a Sunday?

Answer

Andy has been going to Jekyll Island with his family for the last two decades whereas Rachel had her first experience in May 2019 and instantly fell in love with the island. We chose a Sunday wedding because we want to give people at least a day to experience the island. We hope this will inspire you to extend your stay around the wedding date or at least plan a vacation for the future.

Where on the island is the wedding venue?

Answer

Located on the western side of the island (you'll actually see a glimpse of it when you are crossing over the bridge), the ceremony and reception will be held at the Crane Cottage in the Jekyll Island Historical District.

Answer

With almost 6,000 acres of land (of which over 4,000 acres is solid earth), Jekyll Island is composed of sandy beaches on the South & East sides of the island, inland salt marsh areas in the North,
