The Alexandrian

Join us at The Alexandrian Hotel for the wedding weekend! We have a room block available until Sept 27, 2024; click "View" to access the booking link. The hotel is pet-friendly and has a parking garage. If you’re not seeing additional room options that you’re looking for — King, Double, or Terrace room — call the hotel and they’ll book the desired room for you.

Other Lodging Options

There are other hotel and Airbnb options to choose from in varying price ranges throughout the city, but we recommend choosing somewhere on King Street, or between Old Town and the Historical District, as those will be most accessible to The Alexandrian.

Flight

Reagan National Airport

Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to Old Town Alexandria with a 10-minute drive to the hotel. I recommend using Skyscanner to find the most affordable and efficient flight options; it's linked here.

Dulles International Aiport

Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the next best option to fly into the DC area. It is a 40-minute drive to Old Town or you can take the metro. If you take the metro from the airport, you will want to take the Silver–Largo line to Rosslyn, switch to the Blue–Franconia/Springfield line, and get off at the King St-Old Town stop. You can hop on the King Street Trolley from there to take you to The Alexandrian.

Flight

Baltimore International Airport

BWI is the farthest option. It's about an hour+ drive to The Alexandrian.

Train

Amtrak to Union Station

The Amtrak is a fun way to travel between big cities. If you ride to the gorgeous Union Station (WAS) in DC, you can switch to the metro to go into Old Town or get a taxi outside the station.

King Street Trolley

The King Street Trolley is free and runs every 15 minutes between the Market Square and the King St-Old Town Metro station from 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, 7 days a week.
