Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a Welcome Party at IL Porto Italian Ristorante on Friday the 25th starting at 8:30 p.m. for all of the guests who are in town the night before the wedding. Come and socialize and have a drink with us!

What is "black-tie optional" attire?

Answer

We ask that men wear a tuxedo and women wear floor-length evening gowns. It is also appropriate for men to wear a dark suit and tie, and women to wear a dress or dressy separates if preferred. The ceremony will be outside in the brick courtyard of the hotel; depending on the weather, you may want a shawl, scarf, or light jacket. The rest of the evening will be inside the ballroom. We are excited for a formal evening with you all!

Is there parking for the wedding day?

Answer

The Alexandrian has a parking garage beneath the hotel, and there are other parking garages nearby if needed.
