Answer

Felton in September is warm in the low to high 70s during the day and drops as the sun goes down to the low 60s. Our wedding will be outside at the top of a hill overlooking Felton; with the ceremony on the grass in the sun (we'll have parasols available) and the reception under a group of large pecan trees in the shade, where it'll be nice and temperate and cool down further towards evening.

Parking

Answer

As you enter the gate, there's a large dirt parking lot to the left that can fit up to 50 cars total. There should be plenty of space, but consider carpooling or RSVP for the shuttle. While Ubers can be ordered to get to the venue, Uber does not pick up from our venue so be sure to RSVP yes for the shuttle if you plan to drink and/or just need a ride home.

Children

Answer

While we'd love to enjoy your company sans kids, children 2 & under are welcome at the wedding. Please let us know in advance so we can provide a high chair. We do request that if they start making a lot of noise during the ceremony that you step away with them (we'll be outside in a large open space so it'll be pretty easy to do so).

I've been sick or feel sick, should I come

Please don't come if you've recently been sick or feel sick. We've heard of so many brides & grooms getting sick or Covid after their weddings. Please don't get us or other at risk individuals at our wedding sick. Stay home and rest, there will be other opportunities to celebrate with us.

While we'd love your company, we completely understand if something comes up or you just aren't able to come. There will always be more opportunities to get together!
