FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions
Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love kiddos and are excited to start our own family, we are not allowing children (unless specifically noted in your RSVP). We encourage you to use this as a fun night off!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate plus ones that are specifically noted on the invitations/RSVP. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Is Quincey taking Cole's last name?

Answer

No, she is not planning to at this moment. For now, they will both keep their names and continue to discuss what makes the most sense for them and their kiddos. They are excited to be the Gilbert Rued household for the time being!

Question

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be entirely indoors!

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

The Landmark Center does not have dedicated parking, but they often have guests park at: - Lawson Commons Municipal Parking (11 W 5th St Saint Paul, MN 55102). Other options include: -- Paid street parking if willing to look and able to parallel park. -- The St. Paul Hotel offers valet parking (whether you are staying there or not). -- There are several nearby paid parking ramp options as well - https://www.landmarkcenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Parking-Ramp-Map.pdf.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have booked a block of rooms at the St. Paul Hotel immediately adjacent to the Landmark Center. Please see the travel section for more details. If you would like to stay elsewhere, there are plenty of other options nearby and within walking distance. The Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront is the next closest, but we would also recommend The Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, or Courtyard by Marriott on West 7th Street for proximity to bars and restaurants. We would also highly recommend Airbnb or Bed & Breakfasts in the Summit/Cathedral Hill neighborhood. This is one of our favorite areas of St. Paul with plenty of cute shops, bars, and restaurants as well as large Victorian mansions and homes. It is a longer walk or short cab ride to the venue.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

There will be some light appetizers for cocktail hour. Dinner will be served family style! There will be a chicken and beef entree, with plenty of vegetarian options. Please let us know if you need any other accommodations. Come hungry and ready to share!

Question

What's the deal with the bar?

Answer

There will be hosted beer, wine, and 3 signature cocktails as well as NA options. Cash bar otherwise.
