How to Get to Ragged Point

Ragged Point Inn is set on the rugged California coastline, and is considered a remote location. Guests should expect to rent a car and drive from the airport to the final destination, anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on where you choose to fly into (if you do choose to fly!) Once there, there is so much nearby, as there is nothing more stunning than the Big Sur coast.

To book within our room block, please call Ragged Point Inn and mention that you are reserving a room for the Sarah Printy/Brian Jones wedding. The website will show that the hotel has no availability if you try to book online, so calling is required. Call 888-584-6374 to book.

Flight

San Luis Obispo Airport (SBP)

This is the closest airport to the venue, about 1 hour and 15 minutes of driving time, much of which are coastal roads. SLO is serviced by United, American, Alaska, Delta, Hawaiian and Lufthansa.

Monterey Regional Airport (MRY)

This is your best bet to get the full Big Sur experience! Both United and American Airlines fly in here. Fly in, rent a car, and drive Highway 1 down to Ragged Point, about a 2 hour drive. You will not be disappointed!

One of 3 airports in the bay area, this is a good choice to fly into in order to get to our wedding in Big Sur.

One of 3 airports in the bay area, this is a good choice to fly into in order to get to our wedding in Big Sur.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

LAX is the furthest away by ~30 minutes, but will be one of the cheaper options to fly into, depending on where you fly out of. Beware of LA traffic :)
