Personally, we think getting an Airbnb to split with family and/or friends is the way to go. There are some awesome Airbnbs on the water and downtown which could make for more of a vacation experience while you spend the weekend in Traverse City! Our reception venue (Cathedral Barn) is 2 miles from the west side of downtown Traverse City. There are neighborhoods everywhere in between in close proximity of downtown (food, shopping, drinks and West Grand Traverse Bay).

The earlier you book, the better! Grab a group of friends or make it a family trip and enjoy full size amenities in a house or condo. Not to mention, you might be able to find something with bay views! Or at least within walking distance of views and/or downtown. Our reception venue (Cathedral Barn) is 2 miles from the west side of downtown Traverse City. There are neighborhoods everywhere in between in close proximity of downtown (food, shopping, drinks and West Grand Traverse Bay). Basically, anything north of South Airport Rd. and the closer to the bay, the better! (Obviously)
