Maid of Honor
Kylie and I first met in 2005 when our parents forced us together at a supper club. Years later, Kylie asked to come meet my pet hamster. Twelve years of friendship, four years of living together, and one very influential hamster later, here we are.
Best Man
Chris and I met in 2008 at a TKE frat party. He went off to fight in the big war and I didn't see him for a couple years. When he made his triumphant return, we not only became best friends, we became brothers.
Bridesmaid
Grace and I met in 2000 on a rainy Valentines morning. I wanted Tarzan on VHS; my parents wanted me to have a sibling and a built-in friend. We compromised — I got Tarzan and a sibling. The friendship eventually followed!
Groomsman
Cody and I met in 2008 when we were neighbors in our dorm at Newberry College. He moved to a different dorm but we eventually found our way back to each other.
Bridesmaid
Claire and I met in 2017 in the Atlanta airport, right before a two-week trip to Chile. I was hoping for a fun trip; Chile gave me a love of wine and Claire. Safe to say, it exceeded expectations.
Groomsman
Aikeem and I met in 2008, during our freshman year of college. He saw me in the dorm hallway and said "Doesn't he look like Paul Bunyan? Yeah, that's Paul B." I guess you could call him one of my partner's in crime.
Bridesmaid
Madison and I met in 2016 when a mutual friend broke his toe and needed tending to. Years later, that same friend dislocated my knee and I needed tending to. Maddie has always been there to take care of things - and of me.
Groomsman
Thad and I met in 2009, the summer after my freshman year. He was a Aikeem's summer school roommate, and immediately fit into the group. Completing our partner in crime trio.
Bridesmaid
Marilyn and I met in 2009 in middle school Spanish class, where we raised fake crocodiles together and dubbed our teacher Angry Bread (“enojado el pan”). The crocodiles are gone, and so is our Spanish.
Groomsman
Brian and I met in 2019 at Jeff's Bucket Shop. He randomly invited me to a 4th of July party at his house one day, from that point on we've been inseparable.
Flower Girl
Sunday and I met in 2021, when one of my best friends decided to pop out a kid. She’s my niece, I’m her Opie, and somehow she’s already in charge of the flowers.
Groomsman
Mike and I met in 2019, my first night working at Jeff's. I didn't see him again for a very long time, because little did I know, he moved to California and I thought I imagined meeting him. He eventually came back and the rest is history.
