Things To Do

Welcome to Edisto Beach! Edisto is a quiet gem of the South Carolina Lowcountry, known for its natural beauty, historic charm, and relaxed pace. We hope you enjoy a few local spots while you’re here celebrating with us. We're so excited to share some of our favorite places with you!

Jacksonboro Circle K

16273 ACE BASIN PKWY, ROUND O, SC 29474

A Lynch family tradition! Stop and grab a cold beverage of your choice so you can open it and have your first sip on the big bridge onto the island! Cheers!

Edisto Beach Access 7

Edisto Beach, SC

Edisto is, simply put, a beach town. We have spent many long days sitting on this beach at this exact access!

The Marina at Edisto Beach

3702 Docksite Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438

One of our favorite spots on the Island! Great music, great drinks, and phenomenal sunsets! Stop in the ship's store for a local t-shirt. This is Preston's summer job location, tell whoever's working you're here for the wedding!

Edisto Island Serpentarium

1374 South Carolina 174, Edisto Island, SC 29438

Reptiles on display! Live alligator feedings and snake handling too! Preston's Neenie used to take her here every summer.

Botany Bay Island

Edisto Island, SC 29438

Botany Bay is a must-see spot on Edisto, featuring scenic trails, massive live oaks, and a beautiful, undeveloped beach (but check the tides, it's only accessible at low tide). It’s about a ½-mile walk out to the shoreline, making it a great choice for an easy, peaceful outing.

The Plantation Course at Edisto

19 Fairway Drive, Edisto Island, SC 29438

The Plantation Course is a relaxed, scenic course with beautiful marsh views, perfect for a casual round while you’re on the island.

Whaley's Restaurant & Bar

2801 Myrtle Street, Edisto Island, SC 29438

Whaley’s is our favorite local bar and a true Edisto staple, known for its laid-back atmosphere and cold drinks. This is where our family spends Christmas Eve and pretty much any other night out, and where we first said "I love you!"

Tortugas Mexican Grill

114 Jungle Road, Edisto Beach, SC 29438

Need a hangover fix? Try the House Breakfast Burrito.

Roxbury Mercantile

4398 South Carolina 174, Meggett, SC 29449

Great spot for dinner on the way onto the Island!

SeaCow Eatery

145 Jungle Road, Edisto Island, SC 29438

Great breakfast spot!
