Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is at Venue 406. Its a private property with a large yard right off of Palisades campground road (you can see a Google map on the "Schedule" webpage). It's on the south side of Red Lodge. As you're driving down main street Hwy 212 as you drive to the south side of town, towards the Beartooth Pass, you'll see a Red Lodge ski area sign, take a right at that onto West Fork road. If you pass the Forest Service building you've gone to far. Follow West Fork for a while till you get to Palisades Campground road. The property will be very close to the intersection to the right. Cross the cattleguard and follow directions from folks on the ground for where to park.

Question

Where is the registry information?

Answer

We have decided not to do a registry. We have combined two households worth of stuff and we already have everything we need! If you’d like to give a wedding present, some funds toward our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated!

Question

Having trouble with the online RSVP?

Answer

We’re not sure if there will be any technical problems with this website’s RSVP system... but if so, feel free to text or email Julie or Jason with your RSVP instead!! Julie Poynter 815-978-4953 Jpoynter86@gmail.com Jason Sprung 765-313-5163 Jmsprung@gmail.com

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Keep an eye on Red Lodge weather closer to the wedding. Early September typically runs high 60s-low 70s, but there is an occasional cold front that can hit early. This will be a laid-back feeling wedding, no need to wear a really formal dress or suit. We are ok with nice looking jeans and your favorite cowboy boots if you want! For women, I would advise to wear ballet flats or wedges (stilettos will not do well in the grass), and bring a light jacket.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have put several options on the "Travel" webpage. These include blocks of rooms at local hotels, vacation rental advice, and even suggestions for camping. In light of all of the cancellations from Covid-19 you shouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay close to Red Lodge.

Question

What can I do?

Answer

We have put a bunch of ideas for things to do in the local and regional area on the "Things to Do" web page. Check it out!
