FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party cocktail or semi-formal attire. For women — think flowy skirts, midi, or maxi dresses in light fabrics or floral prints, and men — breathable suits or button downs and slacks for a summer day. We’d love for everyone to dress up, and of course wear what you feel your best in!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one, they will be listed as “guest” under your name as you RSVP.

Question

What time can we enter the lodge for the reception?

Answer

You will not be able to enter the event space until 5pm, due to the venue’s time constraints. However, feel free to explore the park area around the lodge if you arrive early! There are walkways, trails, and a playground for children.

Question

Where can I park at the reception venue?

Answer

There are two lots available for parking, one on each side of the venue. Upon arrival, you will enter the first lot. If you choose to park in the second, take a left as you pull up to the building and pass under the covered drive beneath the balcony. Please note that the front entrance roundabout is reserved for drop-off only. The covered drive under the balcony may not be used for parking or drop-off of any kind. *NOTE — bridal party photos may be taken at or near drop-off areas or under the balcony at any time after the ceremony.

Question

Will there be any dietary accommodations for the meal?

Answer

While we cannot make individual requests, the caterer will be providing gluten free options. We will be serving Iowa Pitt Ham, Parmesan Marinara Chicken Breast, dinner rolls, mixed vegetables, whipped potatoes, fresh fruit, salad, and Oreo fluff. Desserts and beverages will also be available.
