Annika and Powell have been best buds since they were babies in their mom's bellies (their moms have been besties forever)! Though they are amazingly different women, they are like sisters, with 30+ years of laughter and love. They grew up next to each other in Grassroots community and were in the same class from pre-school till 5th grade. They still text almost everyday (along with Kathryn and Hope)! *Grassroots Sisters*

Kathryn and Powell have been thick as thieves since they were in strollers. While their mom's sipped martinis, Powell and Kathryn would play for HOURS. With a million inside jokes, late night conversations, first loves, heart breaks, weddings, hysterical laughter, and a NEW BABY...their sisterly closeness is somethin' special and hard to put into words. They have evolved together not just as Grassroots childhood friends, but as women who will be close for life.

Hope and Powell have been friends since they were kids, growing extra close in high school and on. As a Grassroots Sister, Hopey is a ray of sunshine in Powell's life. After many adventures, thoughtful conversations, and frequently being confused as each other (despite looking nothing alike), they have the kind of friendship that runs deep and strong. Powell's respect and love for Hope is endless, grateful to be born knowing such an incredible woman and mother.

Truth be told, Powell has two soul-mates...one being Christopher, and the other being Nathalie. Powell and Nathalie share a natural bond that is hard to explain until you see them together. Starting as casual co-workers at Chico's, they became roommates...and the rest is history! Nathalie and Powell support each other, encourage and challenge each other, have WAY too much fun together, and will be obsessed with each other forever and always.

Lexie and Powell (Uhly & Fuzz) were a dynamic duo at Chico's; rarely seen without each other. A special bond was created during their time working together and lead to MANY fun memories (personally and professionally). Lexie and Powell discovered an unexpected friendship that means the world to both of them and have made sure to check in daily, despite living in different states. While they sure know how to have a good time, they also deeply respect and get each other.
Mallory

Mal-pal and Powell met at Chico's and got along immediately....but honestly, who doesn't love Mallory?? Coffee and conversations while avoiding work in "Mel's Tavern" was a favorite pastime with Lexie, along with many happy hours. She always expresses genuine interest and care, while being hilarious and FUN (not to mention her incredible eye for design)! Powell admires Mallory and knows that she will always have her back. Even with long-distance, they have a friendship that continues to thrive!
Luka

Luka and Powell have a special friendship, a type of closeness that can only be explained by nature AND nurture. They have loved and known each other since birth, with their families intertwined by history and friendship. While Luka might occasionally roll his eyes at Powell, they share a genuine bond of common interests, respect, fun, and a lot of late nights talking until someone tells them to go to bed!

Powell and Jessica met in Jacksonville while Powell went to school at UNF under unusual circumstances....but they fell in love with each other immediately. They have been through it all together. Dating, break-ups, cohabitating, travel adventures, shared hopes and dreams...they are family. Powell is godmother to Jess's wonderful son, Thorn, and they do their best to be there for each other in all things, having fun along the way!

Powell and Christen have been gal pals since high school, naturally gravitating towards each other. They have traveled the world together, danced at music festivals, laughed, cried, drank cocktails, and simply enjoyed each other's company for many years. When Powell moved back to Tallahassee, one of her main priorities was to live within 5 minutes of Christen's house. Even better, they now work together at LeMoyne, happily walking through daily life side-by-side.

Even though Powell originally tried to limit herself to only have 9 people in her bridal party...She simply couldn't bare to not have Stormy stand by her side. Stormy kept Powell sane and laughing during the pandemic, their weekly walks, hilarious memes and natural love for each other is undeniable. Stormy's joyful spirit and thoughtful insight keeps Powell smiling!

Johnny and Chris go way back, all the way to freshman year of high school, where two bored kids played cards after school to pass the time. Nowadays Johnny and Chris still play games whenever they get the chance, whether it's online or in person. Johnny and Chris share a brotherly bond that is sure to last.
Adam

Adam and Chris were mutual friends of Aidan, introduced at the movie theater the trio worked in through high school. The two bonded over games, scouts, and movies. After Adam and Aidan moved off to Gainesville for college, Chris carried on a tradition of visiting the boys every spring break.

After meeting at Pompano Beach High, Aidan and Chris were quick friends. Many late nights were had playing video games and Magic the Gathering wherever and whenever they got the chance, not to mention a few trips to the parks in Orlando. Aidan has always been there for Chris when he needs a friend.
Gabrielle

Gabrielle and Chris met while working at AET in Tallahassee. Gabrielle was a close friend in a time of need for Chris, and after a little vetting, she introduced him to her group of friends. On a whim, her and Chase convinced Chris to come out to Hulaween, where he would meet the love of his life.
Amelia/ Mimi

Though it took a little time before they became friends, Amelia has always been Chris' favorite sister. The two have shared so many awesome experiences together, but Chris is most excited about her moving to Tallahassee so they can spend even more time together, not just as siblings but as buddies.
Keith

Keith, a mutual friend of Gabrielle and Chase, was introduced to Chris in not the most glamorous of ways. Thankfully they gave friendship a second chance, and after a late night filled with deep talks, the two became like brothers. Keith and Chris were inseperable for a while, spending every weekend together on the town. They may have slowed down a bit, but it's always a party when these two are together.
Chase

After being introduced to Chase through Gabrielle, the two became close friends, sharing a love of D&D, Magic, and books. It was at Hulaween where Chase pulled Chris aside and introduced him to Powell, and the rest is history. Chris can't possibly thank him enough.
Cameron

Cameron and Chris first met at Hulaween under Chase's wing. After his now wife Alex and Gabrielle asked Chris to "look after" Chase and Cam while the gals rested, the boys got into some serious shenanigans. Cameron was a fountain of wisdom for Chris. He is a dear friend and is always the life of the party.

Fed was introduced to Chris by Chase, where he became a close friend after several watch parties and trivia nights at Fermentation Lounge. The pair shared musical tastes and trips to immaculate springs nestled in the woods outside town, as well as a friendship that can only come from wild nights at Hulaween.
