There is plenty to do in the Canadian Rockies! This section will include some activities that are close to Mount Engadine Lodge, as well as some of our favorite activities in the nearby national parks!
Rummel Lake
AB T0L 2H0, Canada
This is a 6.7 mile round trip hike that you can get to from the lodge. This is a moderately challenging trail but it will provide you with beautiful views of the canopy, mountains, and lake.
Mount Engadine Meadows
This is a short stroll from the main lodge. Located right by the river, this is a much shorter walk for anyone looking to get some views of the nearby river and mountains.
Johnston Canyon
Bow Valley Parkway, AB T1L 1K2, Canada
This was the first hike we did in Canada and we absolutely loved it! It felt like such a unique hike through the canyon and even more stunning views once you get to the ink pots.
Yoho Pass
BC V0A 1L0, Canada
This was one of our favorite hikes we did in Canada! It is a challenging route and very isolated (we passed like 2 people the entire 9 miles), but the views along the way and secluded lake at the end are worth it.
