We met at Lake Day for our medical school class. Lake day is a pre-orientation icebreaker day, and we were in the same "camp" group--team yellow (which just so happens to be Hannah's favorite color). From there, Zane saw Hannah in her white, fluffy jacket in the crowded orientation hall and decided to sit with her. Someone was playing matchmaker in the medical school by putting Zane and Hannah into the same small group and medical school "college." How could they not end up spending time together?
While Hannah and Zane were seemingly being matched by the med school admin, their love story truely begins with rocks. After a thrilling afternoon of small group homework, Hannah invited herself to go rock climbing with Zane. While traversing the plastic rock wall, Hannah divulged that she loved margaritas and tacos to which Noah leapt on the opportunity as the ultimate wingman. After having dinner, Noah quietly cleaned up and then left Hannah and Zane to figure out that they liked each other as more than friends. Shoutout to Noah for some stellar tacos for providing the lucky couple an excuse to spend more time together.
Hannah and Zane's first trip together was to the wonderful land of Canada. Hannah had always dreamed of going to Banff and Zane likes the outdoors so naturally it had to happen. Oddly enough, the Canadian wild fires started the day Hannah and Zane left... No comment. When thinking of where we wanted to get married, Hannah and Zane wanted a location that held special importance to them and somewhere they could intimately host the people most important to them. Mount Engadine Lodge is the perfect blend we wanted.
