Jordan Chambliss
Maid of Honor
I met Jordan at school going into my junior year. She is one of the people that is responsible for bringing Michael and I together. She was one of the people that convinced Michael to ask me out on a date and I am forever grateful that she did so. Jordan and I became roommates and after moving into an apartment together, we became sisters in our music fraternity, spent countless nights complaining about Grey's Anatomy characters, and talking about our experiences teaching. She is truly like a sister to me and I can't imagine my wedding day without her! "one of my favorite memories with Hannah is singing at our song rehearsals in our Music Fraternity in college!"
Zach Jensen
Best Man
Zach and I met in 2008ish. We were next door neighbors and soon became best buds. Every time I came up to the mountains for the summers and winters, we would spend endless days hanging out on dirt bikes, catching crawfish in the creek, playing legos and getting ourselves in trouble. We got to see each other grow up through the years and have remained best friends despite the distance. "one of my favorite memories with Michael is the many sleep overs we would have over the summers"
Mabry Smith

Mabry and I have been best friends since Freshman year of high school. We technically met at band camp that summer, but it wasn't until the first day of school in our English class that we really solidified our friendship. We had at least one class together (besides band) every year of high school. The two of us became attached at the hip for all of high school. After high School she went to Anderson University and I went to Western Carolina; however, we still talked all the time and made sure to stay as close as possible despite the distance. I am so blessed to have her by my side! "My favorite memory with Hannah has got to be all of our high school band competitions and the countless hours of us goofing off in the band trailer during loading crew!"
Jonathan Pitt

When I met Jonathan, Hannah's brother, for the first time, I was a little terrified to be honest. He seemed confused over the fact that Hannah had a boyfriend who was sitting in his living room when he got home from work. I made him laugh within the first few minutes, and then I got the brotherly seal of approval (I hope). We have bonded together over the years and I can't wait to call him my brother in law. "My favorite memory with Michael is probably looking at him during the engagement party and telling him that I am so excited to have a brother"
Brauer Kittrell

I met Brauer at a camp clean up day in 2020. As we were cutting back the brush on one of the trails, I remember talking to her about Michael before Michael and I were even in a relationship. We were bummed when we found out that we weren't going to be working together that summer because of Covid; however, A year later we finally worked at camp together at camp and it really solidified our friendship. We ended up working together for 2 summers and were often mistaken as sisters (honestly we just ran with it too)! I can't wait for her to stand beside me and I am so grateful for her love and support! "My favorite memory with Hannah is definitely pretending to be sisters at camp and successfully convincing all of our campers!"
Matthew Wasserman

Matthew and I go way back. To 6th grade that is, Mrs. Dempsey's social studies class. We became best friends and spent our middle and high school years growing up in South Florida, making memories, sharing laughs and jokes and playing too many hours of video games. After we graduated high school in 2017, Matthew moved out west to Arizona and I moved up to the mountains. We still have remained good friends over the years and I can't wait to have him as part of our wedding party this December. "Some of my fondest memories with Michael include building huge dog houses out of Lego for my two rescue dogs and creating expansive worlds together in Minecraft. Growing up we always had an amazing ability to put or creative minds together to make something memorable and special including our friendship itself!"
Sarah Hanson

Sarah and I were campers for the first time together in 2016 at Asbury Hills. We quickly became best friends and talked throughout the school year after that summer. To our surprise we were put in the same group for my last summer as a camper which made us bond even more. Eventually, we started working at Asbury Hills together for 2 summers. Though a friend already, she became one of my closest friends. We quickly became great friends and I am blessed to call her a friend and can't imagine this day without her! "My favorite memory with Hannah is getting to do camp providence or book reading weekends!"
Matt Klink

When I started PA school, I was asked by a neighbor and fellow classmate to help her pick up some furniture off Facebook marketplace in rural Virginia. I remember in the car she was on the phone with her soon to be husband, Matt, asking who Michael was and wondering if he should be worried. When we finally met in person, we clicked right away and became great friends. He has helped me keep my sanity and grounding throughout PA school and I am very blessed to have him as a friend and in my life. "My favorite memory with Michael is our spur of the moment weekend trip to Roanoke!"
Katie George

Katie and I met at Asbury Hills in 2021 while on staff. We got grouped together for the summer day camp, camp providence that summer, and it is truly where we bonded. We constantly talked about our love for books and talked about which fictional character was the best. I am so thankful that both of us decided to work at camp again in 2022. Her strong love for her friends means the absolute world to me and I am so excited to have her by my side! "My favorite memory with Hannah is talking about our favorite books at camp and staying up way past lights out on back porches of the cabins! We really got close after Camp Providence and I’ll always hold those memories close to my heart!"
James Curran

James has known Hannah since high school when he became a mentor to her in her faith. He started working with the youth group every Sunday night. Also, He started a bible study for high school students where they started in the first book and read the whole bible. He really supported the growth in Hannah's faith and helped her me to understand the Bible in ways she never did before. His love and support for their relationship and growth in our faith means the absolute world to her. Hannah couldn't think of a better person to marry her and Michael. We are so honored to have James marry the two of us!
