Ping was finally ready to tell her parents she had met someone special! She used this photo to break the news that he wasn't Asian.

Cornell was a whirlwind adventure filled with hijinks, tomfoolery, and even the occasional shenanigan. Here we captured a particularly unhinged moment where our roommates reverse pranked us.

The college chapter was nearing its end. Nick had just graduated, and Ping was studying abroad in Amsterdam in her senior year. They capped off her semester with a Eurotrip to 6 countries. Buongiorno from Italy!

As Ping was preparing to move to Austin for work, Nick was starting med school at UCLA . They were excited to finally root for a winning football team! But were quickly dispelled of that notion.

From mid-2013 to mid-2017, Ping and Nick were long-distance. They made things work through many long calls and trips to see each other. This is a shot of Nick visiting Ping in Austin!

They celebrated Nick getting his MD in 2017! Little did they know then what residency would bring...

Nick returned the favor years later at Ping's MBA graduation in 2024. She's not so subtly hiding the fact that she'd been crying seconds before this photo was taken.

In 2021, faced with mounting family concern and threats of a formal intervention, they finally got it together and got engaged.

Spending quality time with friends means the world to us! Here we are with the UCLA med school crew at the first of many annual reunions, known by many as the "Santa Barbara Invitational" (SBI).

Over the years, we have tried to convince ourselves and others that we are outdoorsy people. Here's us looking out over Death Valley on a camping weekend together.

In 2015, we went on a formative trip to Peru with Trang (officiant) and Drew (groomsman). Here we'd just summited Machu Picchu after a grueling 5-mile bus ride.

Of course, we wouldn't be where we are without the support of our amazing families! Here we are with Ping's extended family (including Baby Ari!) in Los Angeles.

Nick's family has been going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware on vacation every year since the 1960's. Ping has joined the tradition and even organized a boat ride for the family in 2022.
