Maid of Honor
Lauren and Ashley met when they were paired up to room together on a trip to Colorado with UC Irvine's Ski and Snowboard Club. Since then they have stuck together through countless life transitions. Who would have thought a college party trip would give Ashley a sister for life?
Best Man
Dale and Nathan met shortly after Dale's birth. Dale vividly remembers Nathan pulling him off the couch as a baby. They are really good friends now.
Bridesmaid
From being awkward middle schoolers to arguably less awkward 30 somethings, Bailey has been a constant supporter, cheerleader, and bestie! Ashley always knows she can count on Bailey to lend an ear and pump her up to take on anything... including the craziness of wedding planning!
Groomsman
Dale and Adam became friends freshman year of high school. They've been up to no good ever since. From teenagers sneaking out of bedroom windows to adults both living in SoCal, Adam's a friend for life.
Bridesmaid
Despite going to different high schools, Ashley and Jennifer met when they were about 16 and started a friendship centered on parties and church camp. That friendship grew when they both when to UC Irvine and Ashley got to know what an amazing friend Jennifer is... she's the friend that tells you like it is and always has your back and Ashley is so happy Jennifer will have her back on her big day!
Groomsman
Meeting shortly after high school, Dale and Cyle built a friendship when Dale showed up at the "Banner House" and never left. Most recently, Cyle made sure Dale stayed off the no fly list with a little help from his dad and helped Dale find the ring he proposed with.
Bridesmaid
In grad school Lindsey and Ashley bonded over studying for stats tests and sharing birthday celebrations. After many years of Lindsey welcoming Ashley as the third wheel for dinners and dates with her partner, double dates are finally an option :)
Groomsman
Where to start with Derrick... some of Dale's favorite memories with Derrick started when he was 16 and their grandma gave them a handle of vodka on Thanksgiving, igniting a tradition that lives on today. Ashley has been lucky enough to participate in this tradition the last two years. But in all seriousness Dale considers Derrick to be more of a brother than a cousin.
Bridesmaid
Ashley met Mary when she came to interview at Portland State for grad school and Mary volunteered to host her for the weekend. From the moment they met, Mary welcomed Ashley with open arms and helped Ashley make Portland her home. Twelve years later they survived grad school together and got a pretty amazing friendship out of it!
Groomsman
Although Ashley was resistant to the idea of a sibling, Pat turned out to be the best little brother anyone could ask for. From defending Ashley when characters at Disneyland tried to play a joke on her to keeping all the parties she threw in high school a secret, Pat has always been someone she can depend on. Dale and Pat have been getting to know each other the last two years... which mostly looks like Dale talking and Pat just shaking his head because he can't believe the things coming out of Dale's mouth.
Bridesmaid
Many of Ashley's favorite memories from grad school and her Long Beach life are the ones she made with Staci. They've had too many adventures to count, from costume parties, to scuba diving, to running around exotic locations together. Staci has been there through all the highs and lows of the last 12 years and Ashley is so thankful to have Staci by her side.
Groomsman
After meeting for the first time at recess in 3rd grade, Dale and Phil have built up quite the collection of memories together. They have seen each other through thick and thin (literally... we all remember the husky days) and Dale counts Phil as one of his closest friends.
Officiant
Dale met Chad shortly after moving to California at a social event for their apartment complex. Chad kept Dale busy with activities and introduced him to some of his favorite people in California. When Dale and Ashley started dating, Dale required Chad's sign off on the relationship... he must have been okay with it because he agreed to marry Ashley and Dale!
